my name is annette tyrrell and i am flattered you are here. as I take my 51 lap around the sun i am thankful for all that i have been given and all i have enjoyed. i am thankful to my heavenly father and his son jesus christ for all that i have and all that i enjoy
a family picture from a few years ago when we all still lived under the same roof. they grow so fast.
during the day i work as a decorative artisan contractor for artworks spokane in washington state. i work with some amazing women (and men) and our goal is to turn ordinary surfaces into works of art. for the past few years i have been playing with mixed media. i love love the medium. i try to keep an art journal to let my designs and my art out. someday i hope to become good enough that i could design home decor, or greeting cards or fabric. i just love pattern and design.
i love encouraging words. i love words that break through the moods, the irritations, the hurts, the things that weigh us down to cause us to stop and refocus. i truly believe we get to choose what we want to think about. i truly believe that everything gives off something. every person at any time during the day can give of love or hatred, joy or anger, kindness or cruelty. we may not all do it perfectly but we can surely endeavor to give off positives to propel each other to give the same. this is what i want my art and designs to reflect and to give.
